Hi and welcome to vegirous.net. My name is Deema. I am a recipe developer, certified personal trainer, behavior change specialist and health coach. I have been following a plant-based lifestyle since 2010. I’ve learned so much about it throughout the years. It is what’s made me become interested in health and fitness, as well as coming up with my own nutritious recipes as not to succumb to eating tasteless food, and/or junk food.
I came up with Vegirous ™ around 2014 to help me put together a concept of eating good food that is delicious, and satiating, while wanting to take my sweet time to get healthy and fit. I went through a lot of trial and error, and I still am learning. I savor the journey, and look forward to results all the time. Vegirous™ is all about body positivity. I am not at my ideal weight, but I’m getting there. It’s been a long journey and I have come a long way. My job is to help you be happier and healthier; to help you achieve the goals you set for yourself, and take your time achieving them.
Here, you will also find recipes of delicious nourishing food, recipes of comfort food (yes, there’s room for those too), information about health and fitness and the plant-based lifestyle, health and wellness coaching sessions, and probably some random bits and pieces about me and my life.
