Extra Crispy No Oil French Fries

Crispy No Oil Fries

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 medium-large potatoes
  1. In a large bowl mix dry ingredients together.

  2. Peel and cut potatoes.

  3. Add potato to dry ingredients and mix them well together.

  4. Let potato sit for 30 minutes but keep gently shaking and mixing every 10 minutes so the dry ingredients can stick more to the potato.

  5. Preheat oven to 400 F.

  6. Cover an oven tray with parchment paper and spread the potato on it. Make sure pieces aren't overlapping, so they can cook evenly.

  7. Place tray in the middle of the oven (on the middle level of the oven). Let them cook for 15-20 minutes or until baked.

  8. Turn on your inside oven grill and grills them for 5 more minutes or until crispy. Make sure they don’t burn as not all ovens are the same.

  9. Take out the tray and let fries cool for a couple of minutes. If you put different layers of fries on top of each other when they're still hot you'll risk their getting soggy.

  10. Serve.

      It has about 803 calories, 3 grams of fat, 22 grams of protein and 158 grams of carbs.
